Hemesh Sheth, Director Operations

Hemesh is an engineering graduate and a senior management professional with 20+ years of experience in Sales & Distribution, Business Development and consistently attaining revenues. He has hands on experience in supply chain, operations & team building. He has been previously associated with Top IT & FMCG companies. He is a Channel sales expert and has proven record in Credit control/ Management. He has successfully developed two startups in his career and has strengths in Business Planning, forecasting and market understanding.

Dr. Manjeer Mukherjee, Director Services

Dr. Manjeer Mukherjee is a trained sociologist working in the area of Gender, Sexuality, Medicine, Technology and Abuse. She has done her Bachelors in Sociology from University of Calcutta, India. To continue with her interest to pursue Sociological research further she has done her Masters, M.phil and Doctorate in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Her doctoral thesis was to unveil the implications of Assisted Reproductive technologies on kinship relations. Dr. Manjeer has also been extensively working with the developmental sector for the last 10 years. Dr. Manjeer has presented paper in various national and international Forums and Networks including World Social Forum, International Women’s Health Meet, National Bioethics Conference and Annual Meet of Health Action International Asia Pacific.

Radhika Sharma, Manager – Training

Radhika Sharma is a graduate in Psychology and a Post Graduate in Psychiatric Social work. Work in the area of Mental Health- both service provision and policy related advocacy is something that is of interest to her. Ethics in psychotherapeutic services is another area of study and reflection. Her previous work experience has been in the area of domestic violence, marital/ relationship related discord etc before joining Arpan. Her endeavor is to create greater language around the discourse of mental health and service provision and to constantly try and respond to the newer challenges that come to the forefront during these dynamic times to better cater to clients’ needs in most optimum ways possible.

 

Nehal Parekh, Manager – Prevention Services

Nehal has completed her Masters in Social Work from College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan in 2004 and has been working in the development sector for over 11 years. She has worked with National organizations like Akanksha Foundation, Make A Wish Foundation of India and Justice and Care, mainly in the field of Child Rights and Education. She has also worked with London Borough of Ealing, Government of UK as a lead child protection practitioner for 7 years. Nehal has a keen interest in the area of Child Protection and Child Safety. She has been actively involved in complex assessments of cases based on risk, danger, ill treatment or neglect of children and young people. Key skills being planning and implementing care and support packages for children and families. She has experience in the areas of Program Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Training and Development.

Abhilasha - manager, Healing Services, Arpan
Abhilasha Rawat, Manager – Healing Services 

Abhilasha Rawat is a trained counselor/ therapist working in the area of trauma and holds an MBA in social entrepreneurship. She has been working in the sector for over twelve years and has an experience of working with varied target group and other stakeholders which includes government and non-government.  Her key skills are planning, networking, management, developing modules, monitoring and evaluation. She has always believed in spreading awareness and create sensitivity around the concern of mental health, sexual abuse and children/ women which makes her a skilled trainer/ facilitator and has trained various stakeholders pan India. In her role as a healing manager, she effectively leads a team of dedicated therapists to facilitate the overall healing of CSA victims. Besides her academic qualifications, Abhilasha is a natural healer and uses alternate methods and techniques of healing as and when required depending on the clients’ faith and belief systems as an added support to the healing process.

 

Anupriya Dassingh
Anupriya Das Singh, Manager – Healing Services 

As a practicing Psychotherapist & Counselor, she has more than 11 years of experience in dealing with intense cases related to mental illness and child sexual abuse. She completed her MSc. in Psychology from Madras University and MS in Psychotherapy & Counseling from IPMS Institute, Mumbai. She also has a lot of certifications in different therapies like Art Becomes Therapy, Dance Therapy and EMDR(trauma focused therapy) from reputed institutes which has helped her to deal with children with traumatic past, adults with personal conflicts and relationship problems. As a Manager for psycho-therapeutic interventions at Arpan, she leads a team of highly efficient therapists committed to achieve the goal of holistic healing from child sexual abuse. When she is not working, she likes to indulge in fine arts, interior decoration and also spends time reading and gardening.
